2 Days Before the Burning
The group continued their quest in Tethyamarside trying to bring down the crazy Lady Leona. However, their mission has just been sidetracked as they're busy searching for the dragonborn that the guards were looking for. Maybe he has some information about the drow, or what their plans are. Some searching doesn't reveal the dragon, but some of the party members become privy to important information. Large populations of elves have entered Tethy which is very strange for a northern human settlement. Also the mysterious symbol of a spider being stabbed with a bloody sword has been appearing all around the city.
The party members attempt to go back to relay what they all found, but Darri is pulled into an alley by a mysterious man. It turns out it's Baris, the dragonborn they were searching for. He has become fond of Darri and offers her a chance to join his mercenary team that is going to be destroying Tethy very soon. Darri obviously doesn't agree, so Baris warns that if they meet he will not hesitate to kill her.
The group meets at the tavern and are very worried about what is going to happen to this city. They all agree that they need to find these mercenaries and see if they're working for the drow. They go around the tavern to see if any merc knows about this mysterious troupe. One merc knows something though he's relunctant to say...until Kae uses her psychic powers to get it out of him.
The group is directed to a mysterious black house near the church of bahamut. Upon entering the house a bunch of mercenaries get ready to attack but Kae says that the party is only looking for a job. The mercs say it's dangerous work but they party is adamant. Finally, the mercs say the party needs to do something to show their loyalty. The party needs to burn down the local church of bahamut within 3 days. None of them likes this at all...that doesn't stop them from offering to burn down The Hanging Drow (the tavern Kae, Paj and Vistra visited and were thrown out of, but not before Kae got drunk after one sip of their disgusting beer). Alignments were called into question...but none of the players cared.
Back at the Puking Giraffe, the party deliberates about how to best burn the church. They decide to just throw a torch into the Hanging Drow and be done with it...and maybe shout "FIRE" a few times just to warn them. Their planning is interupted by the arrival of Arun, the diplomat of Daggerfalls. He says he was tasked by Lady Priya to enter the city to tell the party of some important news. Randal Mor was attacked by an assassin. Though the lord still lives the assassin managed to set himself on fire before being captured. Though they did find something in the lords room. A symbol of a spider with a bloody sword through it.
And that's where the session ended. I'm happy my players made the most of an unfortunately short session (I had a last minute appointment to deal with). Overall this was a lot of fun.

Adventures of Daggerdale, Session 12
Pajlada's not Home
How do I start these again? It's been so long! But playing again really made me remember how much I love playing RPG's. We had a fun time even though Pajlada couldn't be with us. Probably best...it will make sense in a second.
So we started the session with a dream for Vistra. It seemed like it would be a normal night, but then suddenly she has a very vivid dream. All her friends are dead around her and there's fire everywhere. Ourania appears with the dagger she gave Vistra. She says that when Vistra is in grave danger, she must thrust the dagger into her friend. She then gives the dagger to Vistra and forces her to thru
MisAdventures of Daggerdale
So my internet broke (COMCAST!) and we couldn't do D&D this week. It really sucks and I feel bad for denying my friends the chance to punch drow in the ass. But we did get through some stuff. So here's a rundown of what happened.
You'll recall the party found a map of spots the drow are going to be attacking. They decide to search some of these spots that they haven't been to before. The first is a mansion housing a dwarf diplomat that manages trading between the dwarf lands and Tethyamarside. The next location is a dwarf forge that makes weapons for Tethyamarside. Finally, a church of Moradine (the dwarf god) that doesn't seem to have a

The Church of War
So we finally return after two weeks without D&D (hooray!) and...we were missing someone. Kae's player never showed up and we wasted about 2 hours waiting. Oh well it happens and anther player (Darri) volunteered to play as Kae for the time being. The session started off with the players very battered and beaten from the last encounter. So they were quick to take a rest and regain some HP. Vistra takes a nap and starts dreaming of a giant spider that attacks her.
They travel deeper into the citadel and find a larder stocked with food. Vistra takes this opportunity to have a sample of the beer that's been stored here. S
A Reverie of Comics! Hachi
Well this is odd. I'm talking about a manga. I like to keep up with the new Shounen Jump series, and the newest series is Hachi by Nishi Yoshiyuki. Is this series worth reading? Well in a nutshell probably. It's difficult judging a series by its first chapter as a lot of elements change in those first few chapters. But I actually really enjoyed Hachi while reading it and I'll be keeping up with the series as long as it continues to be entertaining.
What's the story? Hachi is a young middle school student of a short stature. What makes him special is that he has an incredible sense of smell. His dream for the future is to be a hero. But Hachi
